Come along with us on this charming evening stroll through the magical city of Barcelona. Nine PM is just about meal time in Barcelona, and throughout our walk, we see the beginning of the bustling restaurant trade in this famous food city. The first part of our walk traverses narrow and dimly lit alleys, typical of Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter, where elegant ancient buildings contrast with street art and graffiti. We arrive to the beautiful and cram-packed Plaza Real, of of the city’s best known open spaces. The archways and terraces are the perfect place for people watching. We take a quieter tone as we then step back into the maze of side streets, ending up on Barcelona’s famous La (Les Rambles in Catalan). Here, locals and tourists alike mingle and walk along perhaps the world’s most known promenade. Needing our Zen, we head back into some almost deserted streets, where we end our walk at the impressive edifice of the Sant Jaume church.
