Onboard Virgin Air Red Light District and Safety Video.
The lighting in the cabin reminded me of a red light district.
Recently we spent a week traveling around southwestern England, by bus, train, taxi, and of course, arriving by plane at Heathrow Airport (although now you can arrive by vehicle or train through the Channel Tunnel). Traveling around the UK by bus is not exactly user-friendly. The bus system takes some close examination to make the best choices that suit your needs. For example, we were first going to take a metro (tube) to Paddington Station upon arrival at Heathrow Airport, and then from there a train or bus to Bristol. Well it turns out, you can catch a coach bus directly at Heathrow’s Central Bus Station to Bristol, completely by-passing downtown London. The coach bus service throughout the UK is much more affordable than traveling by train, however it usually takes a bit longer by bus from one city to another. Once we arrived in Bristol, the only apparent bus option to our final destination, Glastonbury, was an inter-city commuter bus which made approximately 40 stops en-route. We also learned that taking a train directly from London to Glastonbury is no longer an option, as train service between the two cities was discontinued back in the 1960’s. The main bus/rail link stations in London are; Victoria Station, Paddington Station, Earls Court Station, Hammersmith Station, Heathrow Station, Liverpool Station, London Bridge Station.
Some of the amazing places we visited;
Chalice Well, Glastonbury, Glastonbury Tor, Glastonbury Abbey, Hundred Monkeys Cafe, Rainbows End Cafe, Pyramid Cafe, Heaphy’s Cafe, Pendragon House, Peter Pan Statue, Liam Payne Memorial, Princess Diana Memorial, Kensington Palace, Queen Victoria Statue, Albert Memorial, Royal Albert Hall, Natural History Museum London, Paddington Station, White Spring,
