I recently travelled to Hamburg for a revisit to Miniatur Wunderland. My travelling companion and I are also into fire engines so visited a few fire stations whilst we were there. When we were visiting the Freiwillige Feuerwehr station (volunteer fire brigade) at Fuhlsbuttel, one of the crew told us about a media event that a number of stations were putting on, that evening, down on the famous Reeperbahn – Hamburg’s red light district. There are 86 stations of volunteers across the city and the event boasted over 25 vehicles, old and new. Enjoy!
