Reeperbahn: It is a street and entertainment district in Hamburg’s St. Pauli district, one of the two centres of Hamburg’s nightlife (the other being Sternschanze) and also the city’s major red-light district. In German, it is also nicknamed ‘the most sinful mile’ and Kiez. It is one of the largest Red Light Areas in the world, along with Pigalle of Paris, Kamathipura of Mumbai, Times Square of New York, Kabukich of Tokyo, Soi Cowboy of Bangkok, De Wallen of Amsterdam, Heera Mundi of Lahore, etc.
