Ever since the introduction of high-speed railroads, Yongsan Station has been a primary station for trains heading toward the Honam, Janghyang, and Jeolla regions. The station is also the start and end point for several express trains. The privately-owned station has gone through various renovations to update facilities and now stands proudly as the largest railroad and subway station in Korea.
