This time I decided to watch the sunset at Patong Beach. And I’m happy that I did it. There was a reason why I couldn’t fully focus on the sunset: there was a far more attractive appearance in front of me.
After “watching the sunset” at Patong Beach (or you name it), I had to go to get some food. I’ve checked the Bangla Night Market Street Food place. I was not in a mood to deal with pushy street vendors over there, so I’ve left.
NOTE TO MYSELF: I should go to Bangla Night Market when they are busier so I won’t get SO MUCH attention.
Later, since it was about time to turn on my Patong Nightlife Vibe, I’ve decided to start hitting the bars.
The first stop was Bar Funk on Bangla Road. You can get on the Happy Hour if you come before 9 p.m. (Heineken Beer for the only 65THB/2.13USD). This bar is a great place to watch some pretty eastern European girls dancing on the countertop of the bar, as well as, to do some “people watching” on passers-by. It is my kind of thing: Beer + Pretty Girls + friendly passers-by.
After the Bar Funk, I went to take a closer look at PumPui Bar. This bar is always full of A-Go-Go Dancers Ladies plus you can see them directly from Bangla Road, before taking a seat there. By the way, if you happen to know what the word “PumPui” means then write it in the comments, please 😉
I was in a party mood, so I went to ILLUZION Night Club. Even though I am not a Nightclub type of a guy but I’ve been there before and had a GREAT time. So I tried it again.
Illuzion is the most popular Nightclub in Phuket and is rated as #33 place in the TOP 100 Clubs of the World by DJMAG magazine. Club entrance is usually free except on Special Events (such as when famous DJs are in town :). Beer prices start from 180THB. Go check this place out. Even if you are not a nightclub person, same as me, but you might experience some real party vibe.
I ended my night by observing what’s going on in Bangla Road and later headed to my hotel.
