Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan! Shinjuku is one of the most unique districts in Tokyo. It’s where you find Kabukicho (the famous red-light district), Godzilla head, Omoide Yokocho (Piss Alley), Golden Gai and, why not? Ichiran Ramen. This is not an attraction per se, but Ichiran Ramen restaurant is also considered by many a must-visit in Tokyo, whether you do it in Shinjuku or another district. Japan ramen is really delicious! If you’re in Japan for the Rugby World Cup 2019, make sure you visit Shinjuku.

We start by visiting the observation deck of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government building. Totally free and really nice view! From there we pass in front of Shinjuku station, the busiest transport hub in the world, and keep walking to Omoide Yokocho or “Piss Alley” (the famed drinking street). We then cross Kabukicho, the well-known red-light district in Tokyo, see the Godzilla head come alive, walk through Golden Gai alleyways and finally end up at Ichiran Ramen for an enormous and fantastic bowl of ramen.

+ YOUTUBE IN PORTUGUESE: (who knows if you have a Brazilian friend!? 😉

Short answer: I am a Brazilian-American journalist living in Florida. After traveling the world working with sports, news, and events for over 15 years, I realized that what I really love is the travel part of it all. So I exchanged the life in the newsrooms and stadiums for the daily challenge of being an independent content producer. I created this channel to share the beauties of the world… stuff that for so long I only kept to myself. Also to help people planning similar trips and to inspire more people to venture out and enjoy life!

P.S.: The guy who occasionally appears in the vlogs is my husband, Gordon. He is Canadian-American and is extremely camera shy, that’s why he’s behind the camera most of the time 😉
