AND THIS IS NEW.. WOMEN ARRESTED ARE GIVEN A CHOICE RIGHT HERE.. TO ENTER A TREATMENT PROGRAM. THEY ARE GIVEN FOOD, MEDICAL ATTENTION, AND COUNSELING. BUT THEY ARE ALSO QUESTIONED BY DETECTIVES NOT ABOUT THEIR OWN CRIMES BUT ABOUT OTHER THINGS THEY MIGHT HAVE DETAILS ON….

FINALLY THE WOMEN ARE ASKED TO SUBMIT A DNA SAMPLE… IT”S A SAD FACT MANY WILL DROP OUT OF THE PROGRAM AND RETURN TO THE STREET.. IF THAT HAPPENS POLICE WANT TO BE ABLE TO IDENTIFY THEM IF THEY TURN UP DEAD..

noone believed these women would submit dna for this purpose but we did a survey of all the women in the program and 100 percent of them said they would..
