01. Miniatur Wunderland
A model railway attraction. One of the largest of its kind in the world. In January 2011 the railway consisted of 12,000 metres (39,370 ft) of track in HO scale, divided into seven sections. By 2020, is expected to reach its final phase, including at least ten new sections.

02. Planten un Blomen
An urban park with a size of 47 hectares. Famous for its water-light concerts, public theater and music performances. There is a large playground in the southern area of the park. Open all year round and there is no entrance fee.

03. Tierpark Hagenbeck
A zoo in Stellingen quarter. Founded by Carl Hagenbeck Jr. in 1907. It is known for being the first zoo to use open enclosures surrounded by moats, rather than barred cages, to better approximate animals’ natural environments.

04. St. Michael’s Church
The most famous church in the city. Considered to be one of the finest Hanseatic Protestant baroque churches. Dedicated to the Archangel Michael. A large bronze statue, standing above the portal of the church shows the archangel conquering the devil.

05. Hamburg Dungeon
A tourist attraction. he first of this brand to be built in mainland Europe. It provides a journey through Hamburg’s dark history in an actor led, interactive experience. Built in 2000. Main attractions: Torture Chamber, Labyrinth of the Lost, Inquisition court.

06. Reeperbahn
A street in St. Pauli district. One of the two centres of Hamburg’s nightlife and also the city’s red-light district. The name means ropewalk, which is a place where ropes are made. Lined with restaurants, night clubs, discotheques and bars, strip clubs, sex shops.

07. Heide Park
A theme park in Soltau. Divided into five areas: Park Entrance – features Lower-Saxony style buildings, Pirate Land – the world of pirates, Transilvania – a medieval-style castle, Land of the Forgotten – the Mayan Village, Wild Wild West – Lucky Land.

08. Eekholt Wildlife Park
A wildlife park near Groenaspe. Hosts about 100 species in Central Europe with over 700 animals on an area of 67 hectares, which nature has designed. Was founded in 1970. It is also a place of education for the protection of the environment.

09. Botanischer Garten Hamburg
A botanical garden. Organized into three sections: Systematic garden – 90 beds of plants, Geographical garden – plants arranged by origin, Plant and man – thematic gardens: Farmer’s Garden, Biblical Garden, crops, pharmacy garden, and poisonous and medicinal plants.

10. Bismarck Monument
A memorial sculpture located in the St. Pauli quarter dedicated to Otto von Bismarck. One of 250 memorials to Bismarck worldwide and is the largest and probably best-known of these Bismarck towers. 35 m high, weighs 600 t. The world’s largest Bismarck monument.
